Marianne teaches various Dhrupad courses and workshops for both novice and experienced vocal and instrumental musicians.

Classes range from meditative morning lessons and thematic modules to intensive workshops and three-year courses. Over the years, Marianne has developed a spirited pedagogy which combines the Indian tradition of oral teaching with individual-oriented vocal improvement and theoretical knowledge.
   

Private classes

Private classes can be followed in the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, or by invitation elsewhere.

Workshops

Week-long workshops include accomodation, vegetarian meals and, of course, intensive classes. The main (summer and winter) workshops are set in the Bohemian Woods, the Czech Republic. Often, Marianne invites one of her colleages from India to accompany her in the teaching. The week-long workshops also include frequent rhythm classes.
